OrgSpring is proud to announce the launch of a new website www.ServingtheHeart.org, a custom design for the Community Foundation, previously known as the Armstrong County Community Foundation.
The Community Foundation recently underwent a branding change, whereby they re-conceived nearly everything about their outward facing material, including logos, flyers, posters, cards, and more. We were very happy to work with them on the design of the new website.
The design consisted of a fresh new look for the community foundation, theming around its colors: Green and Blue. Information boxes on the home page drive visitors to the three main function of the foundation – services for nonprofits, parents and students, and donors.
We added a calendar of events with the ability to take reservations for individual events, and the ability to sell tickets to paid events and fundraisers. Attendees can be checked-into events via the website control panel or via mobile device scanner or QR bar code.
We also installed a brand new e-commerce system using WooCommerce, which allows the foundation to accept donations and support from a number of payment gateways, both on the site directly and through PayPal. The donation page is clean and uncluttered, and allows for multiple donation levels to be entered, including the ability for the donor to enter his or her own donation amount. Donors and members can view their donations, print tax receipts and more, all from a convenient (and secure) member panel accessible from the front end of the website.
Phase 2 of the website will include a special design for the organization\’s annual Day of Giving, when the foundation raises money for its participating nonprofits. When phase 2 is live, the site will allow nonprofits to register and raise money during the day of giving.
